At East Lake School we aspire to be brave problem solvers who embrace challenges, explore possibilities and grow through creative and innovative learning experiences.
Mission
Inspiring learners to set goals, persevere, and find success in the emerging process of learning.
At East Lake School, we know we must look at connecting with the social, emotional, and physical well being of each of our students through a personalized teaching approach that acknowledges each student’s strengths and abilities as well as the challenges they may face.
East Lake School has been built to encourage collaborative, cross-disciplinary learning that encourages student ownership, self-direction and responsibility for doing one’s best. Our students are involved in a process of learning that allows for collaboration within a focused, coherent and deliberate framework for learning that encourages creation, academic excellence and celebration.
At the core of everything we do is the desire and the determination to help each and every one of our students achieve their potential.
What is a Public-Private Partnership?
A public-private partnership (P3) can be defined as an infrastructure project in which a private contractor:
- provides some or all of the financing for the project;
- designs and builds the project, often providing operations and maintenance for the project, and often backed by an “extended warranty”; and
- receives payments from the government over an extended period of time, subject to deductions for failing to meet contractually defined performance standards.
