Government of Alberta Announcement for Masks
On Sept. 3, 2021, the Government of Alberta announced a series of temporary health measures being implemented province wide to reduce transmission of COVID-19 and prevent the health care system from being overwhelmed. The Board of Trustees and Senior Administration met this weekend to review these new measures. After careful consideration, RVS is making some changes to our Return to School Operational Plan.
Terry Fox Run September 24
All students need to have their field trip consent forms filled out in School Engage in order to go off property. We plan to do what we have done in the past, which is run/walk around the pond on Fri. September 24. We will be cohorting according to grade level. Donations: Please make donations through the Terry Fox East Lake School link provided. This will ensure all money is tracked accurately and appropriately and reduce possible contamination. We can still honour our goal of each person bringing a "Toonie for Terry" as you are free to donate any amount through the Terry Fox website. https://secure.terryfox.ca/registrant/TeamFundraisingPage.aspx?TeamID=950858
