APEGA Science Olympics

East Lake's Science Olympics Team earned a silver medal at the APEGA Science Olympics on Saturday May 25th! These kids were a great team and had so much fun working on both the classroom and mystery challenges. Together, they created a raccoon proof garbage bin, saved an egg from cracking on a zipline and built a bridge that could support the transport of 40 marbles! They spent countless 7:00am mornings with their coaches, Mrs. Van den Eynden and Miss Lee to prepare for this event.
