Calgary Youth Science Fair, April 12-13

Twelve students represented East Lake School at the CYSF competing against 1000 other students. East Lake took home 1 gold, 5 silver, 3 bronze and 2 honourable mentions. Many projects took home special awards and monetary prizes including Jiya who won The Department of Geoscience award and $200 as well as The Pathways Alliance Award For Innovation and Sustainability and $300. George and Jack won The Haskayne School of Business Consumer Science Award and $300. Brooke and Maya won Consumer Science Award and $100. Congratulations to all the students for competing and winning their prizes!
