The Early Literacy program provides individualized reading and writing support to Grade one and two students. Homeroom teachers refer students to Early Literacy Support.
At East Lake School, we embrace and work towards inclusive education for all learners. Teachers strive to meet the needs of students by adapting teaching methods and models in the classroom setting that align with 21st Century learning and practice. As a Learning Support Team we work collaboratively with students, parents and teachers to support learners in reaching their full potential. East Lake School celebrates diversity and learning!

A family atmosphere prevails at our school with the education of your child being a shared responsibility. We encourage your interest in what your child does each day and welcome your involvement in the classroom, school council and at home.
