Friday, December 15th

  • Battle of the Books--Which book are you going to read first? Remember, you can sign books out of our library or the Public Library.

  • We'd like to say good-bye to our student teachers from the University of Calgary who will be leaving us today, but will be returning in February. Staff and students have really enjoyed having you here and look forward to your return in the new year!

  • We will be celebrating the holidays next week with a Holiday Spirit Week!  The themes for the week are as follows:

    • Monday, Dec. 18 – Candy Cane Day (wear red and/or white)

    • Tuesday, Dec. 19 – Winter Hat/Headband Day

    • Wednesday, Dec. 20 – Holiday Colour Day (blue, white, gold, red, green)

    • Thursday, Dec. 21 – Festive Sweater/Shirt Day

    • Friday, Dec. 22 – Pajama Day

  • Mrs. Gunn will not be in today. Battle of the Books applications will continue on Monday. Please remember that the Chestermere public library can provide you with the books too. The book lists have been posted to our website.

Thursday, December 14th

  • Battle of the Books--Let's get ready to rumble!  Teams can still sign up with Mrs. Gunn
  • Reminder to grade 6-9 band students that our concert is tonight at 6:30.  Please be at the school by 5:45 pm.

Wednesday, December 13th

  • Battle of the Books--Do you have your team yet?  See Mrs. Gunn for all the details.

Tuesday, December 12th

  • Battle of the Books--Get a team together and sign up with Mrs. Gunn.   Grade 6-9 battles begin in January.  Grade 3-5 battles will happen in March.
  • Congratulations to the following classes who took on the Problem of the Month for November:  Mrs. Gerla's class found very creative solutions.  M. Wall's class found over 10 different solutions.  Mme Marcil's class worked diligently. Mme Boussaha's class figured out how many tires were needed.   Well done!
