Welcome to kindergarten!
My name is Annie Walton and I am your child’s kindergarten teacher. Kindergarten is an exciting, bustling place and I am looking forward to a great year of learning and playful discovery!
I recently moved to Alberta from Ontario and am still in awe of the natural beauty we see every day! When I am not teaching, I love to spend time hiking in the mountains with my husband, Steve, and our puppy, Snickers. I also enjoy curling and relaxing at home with a good book.
I taught kindergarten back in Ontario. In the past, I have also taught Library, Music, Phys. Ed., Drama, and Dance to Grade 1 and 2 classes in the French Immersion program, as well as spending a year teaching kindergarten in Belgium.
The best way to reach me is with a phone call at 403-248-1091 or with a note in your child’s agenda. I can also be reached by email. Please do not hesitate to contact me; I feel it is very important we work as a team to support your child’s social, emotional, and academic growth. I look forward to getting to know you and your child this year!
Sincerely,
Annie Walton
